Tashie

Aunty Jan & Aunty Linda and all the people that I met when I was staying with you guys late last year.  Thought that it was about time to let you all know how I am doing.

I thought I would tell you about how I spend my day.  I usually wake Mum up 1st,  in Winter it was awesome, we get to jump in bed for a cuddle and get my ears warmed up, I have some fur on them now but there were a bit leathery.  I didn't understand when I was allowed on the bed but apparently I am a Stafford and got used to it rather quickly which made Mum smile. Mum isn't working at the moment so as soon as she is up, we go for a small walk at the park we have 2 houses away, most days unless she puts us on the lead we run there and have a good sniff around and run through the retarding basin, then its back home for left over brekkie cereal, Dad saves his bowl to so Steff and I each get one with a bit of senior dry food thrown in, then a little sleep on the couch and maybe a bone, Steff and I love the little marrow ones and it takes us at least 10 minutes to extract all the yummy stuff, then nap on the deck in the sun and then maybe another feed a bit later.

Our daily late afternoon walk is my favorite, I love my tennis balls but only the green ones, no other colours, I wont even pick them up.  Steff chases her basketball around with her nose which she loves cause Dad pumps it up so she cant get her teeth into it and she will chase it in a circle for ages, whilst I dance around her and always get in the way, but we both have a good bark and I have a really cute little bark (so I am told).  We usually go for a decent off leash walk as well, cause we are both good girls and don't need a lead.

Then its back home for Dinner leftovers where we get a plate each or sometimes share, I am a good sharer and just back of if Steff tries to take my food, I don't care but Mum grumps at Steff when she does it.  Last on the menu is a big sardine each (or 2).  On the couch for the rest of the night, all that wagging, smiling, running, walking, barking, eating and sleeping is exhausting.and then off to bed (which I LOVE) where I wait for my PJ's in the winter or just for the cuddle and to be tucked in any day any year.  I have attached a few pics that Mum has taken including our beds that we have in the walk in robe with me waiting for a cuddle before I go nigh nigh's.

Mum says I should tell you that as my tail is always wagging  there has been some mention about hooking it up to some sort of wind generator to save on electricity.

So thanks to you both and all the volunteers, all the Donators, Facebook Likers and Commentors and Sharers and all the people that help in the many ways that they do to make Stafford Rescue Victoria the best place to be homeless.

Lots of love Tashie (Laura, Bill and Steff say hi to :)
